A clean feeding area is mostly the result of a repeatable routine. The right mat, stable bowls and a small cleaning kit can reduce the time spent dealing with crumbs, water and tracked food.
Create a defined feeding zone
Place bowls on a washable, non-slip mat with enough raised or extended area to catch ordinary spills. Choose a flat location away from busy walkways. Check the mat and bowls against the manufacturer’s care instructions before using strong cleaning products or high heat.
Use a short daily routine
